I am a molestation victim of Father Joseph Reilly when he was stationed at St. Michael's Parish in Memphis, TN. I was twelve years old and an altar boy. After an incident in the church sacristy in 1962, I reported him to my dad. My father and I were told by the pastor of St. Michaels at that time that he would never serve as a priest again. I found out recently that he was simply transferred immediately to a parish in Nashville, TN. I went through many years of hatred for the Church because of this despicable act of transferring a known pedophile to live among more innocent children. I have recently been healed of my hatred and have returned to a very active and devout Catholic church life. I am grateful to God for His Chuch and His mercy toward me in spite of my sins. We that have been forgiven of so much should pray for God's mercy to be shown on others. Fellow Christians, do you want to cast the first stone? Our church leaders are finally on the right path. Let's encourage and pray for them.
