What: Sidewalk Press Conference on Friday, July 1st near The Catholic Center, 2400 Twenty-first Avenue, South, Nashville, Tennessee 37212-5387


Who: David Brown, native of Nashville and graduate of Father Ryan High School. With Mr. Brown will be the Tennessee state co-directors of SNAP: Susan Vance and Ann Brentwood. (SNAP stands for Survivor's Network of Those Abused by Priests.)


When: 10:30 a.m.


Where: The Catholic Center of Nashville (From I440-W take exit #3 - 21st Ave. S, turn right onto Hillsboro Pike/21st Ave. Continue to follow 21st Ave S. for 0.8 miles until you turn right at 2400 21st. Ave. S - Catholic Center)


Why: David Brown has broken decades of silence to speak to the Nashville Community about the sexual abuse he endured and the silence the Catholic Church wanted him to keep. He will be silent no longer but will reach out to victims and to their families.
