A sexual abuse lawsuit was filed against the Archdiocese of Cincinnati and Father David Kelley Thursday morning.
The suit, filed by Mason attorney Konrad Kircher, alleges that eleven men from Cincinnati and Dayton were abused by Father Kelley when they were boys.
The abuse allegedly took place in the 1970's and 1980's at Little Flower Church in Cincinnati's Mt. Airy neighborhood and at St. Christopher Church in the Dayton suburb of Vandalia.
What is just coming out now is that Kelley underwent treatment in New Mexico in 1987 because of concerns that he spent an inordinate amount of time with teenage boys.
There were no sex abuse allegations at that time.
The Archdiocese of Cincinnati says the first sex abuse allegation regarding Kelley was received in 1994.
