Information to prepare for the meeting to be held by the Executive Director of SNAP

A meeting that the Executive Director, Angela Walker, has told us is the meeting we asked for in August-S.eptember 2024 is being secheduled.  Even though the Board of Directors stonewalled and gaslighted us now for over a year, Angela Walker tells us the Board has now agreed to meet and have the conversation.

This document compiled by David Lorenz is key to getting a clear picture of the stonewalling and gaslighting that were consistently aimed at the Group asking for a simple conversation.  The vitriolic emails of Dan McNevin were never stopped by Shaun Dougherty who stated that he knew of each email and did not see anything wrong with them. This has fueled our determination to get to the truth.

A list of grievances in simplified form was compiled by David Lorenz. It is a good shortcut to understanding the situation with the Board and the SNAP Reform Caucus.

Grievance filed against the Executive Director of SNAP, Angela Walker, by the SNAP Reform Caucus.

Grievance filed against the Board of Directors of SNAP including Shaun Dougherty, Eduardo des Casas, Daniel McNevin, Judy Larson, and Paul Peterson.

The SNAP Reform Caucus has many Calls to Action on this website to make positive change in SNAP and to openly exoress both problems in SNAP and positive solutions.

Information sent to the Executive Director and the Board of Directors to be answered at the Leaders Meeting of the Annual Leaders Meeting at the Annual SNAP conference in 2025.

A further document for the Annual Conference of 2025 that was given to top SNAP executives.  Although asked to do this, very little if anything the SRC asked was ever answered.

If you think you signed one of these or more but aren't sure, just SIGN AGAIN.  We will only submit your name once and  repeats will be deleted.

The Law (in Plain English) for Nonprofit Organizations
We will be informing you of some of the research that has been done by the Leader's Group over the past 8 months of waiting for the Board to listen to us. Recent important findings are from th this book, "The Law for Nonprofit Organizations."
We will be posting pertinent excerpts soon.  This book can be bought in paperback and kindle formats.

Are you a vetted leader in SNAP?

Are you a vetted leader in SNAP?  You may be shocked!!!

Eight leaders were recently excluded from mediation with the Board of Directors of SNAP—8 out of 12 rejected! How did this happen? Why? It's time for you to inquire with the Board about your status as a vetted and ratified leader. Don’t assume that long-standing tenure guarantees your position; many believed the same. The Board implemented arbitrary criteria that led to the exclusion of these 8 leaders from discussions.

Check the Call to Action here and request clarification on your vetting status. If you are not vetted, insist on understanding the reasons why. To gain insight into the struggles these 12 leaders have faced, visit the Timeline and Correspondence section.

You can click here and go directly to the online form to fill out and find out if you are vetted.

The Helpline needs you
helpline.png

This phone line has been in operation for years and was funded by private individuals

➢ It has been staffed by a group of ‘leaders’ that respond to any calls that come in. For some leaders it is the only way that they can contribute and feel it is part of their mission.
➢ Unfortunately, the bill was not paid and the line stopped working
➢ This has occurred in the past and was easily fixed by a quick phone call to the benefactors
➢ Shaun reported that he did not know the benefactor (he was told) & spent months trying to fix it on his own. Including flying to Chicago for 3 days. It is still not back in full operation. Shaun is the only person with access.
➢ Conversations with individuals from other organizations reveals that calls to the helpline are not being fielded. Survivors report that they gave up trying to contact SNAP. The mission of SNAP is NOT being fulfilled. Click here to go to the Call to Action page and the #4 Call to Action. Click here to go directly to the form to fill out and let the Board know you are concerned about the Helpline.
